McDermitt – Quinn River type eggs

Mined in the 50’s 60’s… There are a lot of gasbubbles in the matrix, mostly also filled with agate. What bed? The name I gave them: gassy bed eggs, but I really don’t know.
Few have the tag Quinn River bed. Some of the eggs come close to eggs which came from Paul Colburns old ‘Blue Ridge claim’. Maybe the Quinn River bed was also part of the ‘Quinn River Lower beds’. I haven’t found recently dug eggs like these yet, maybe the bed is empty and gone now…

Anyhow, I find the QR type eggs one of the most attractive from the McDermitt area!
